I draw people in the city, mainly in pen and ink. Been drawing a very long time.

I’m interested in the fleeting moments that happen around us every day — people absorbed in what they’re doing, waiting, walking, or simply standing still.

My drawings grow out of observing people and the moments they occupy. Sometimes I draw directly from life; sometimes I work from my own photographs, which allow me to return to a moment and explore it more fully.

But to keep the immediacy in my work they are always drawn straight into pen and ink. No pencil underlays, no rehearsal just right here, right now. Like life.

You dont need to know too much about me as a person, I’m not that interesting. And before you ask – no, I’m not Banksy.
